Cowboy Room Comedy

open mic night

Join us every Wednesday at 7pm for The Cowboy Mic, our very own open mic night. The Cowboy Room is the only venue in Boise booking professional comedy shows every weekend AND producing a free, midweek open mic. If you want to get a taste of comedy in the Cowboy Room, this is a great place to start!

Tell me more

Open mic nights are where it all begins! You may see someone who's been performing for 15 years, you may see someone who practiced in the mirror for 15 minutes. Open mics are where the seasoned pros work out new material, and where the fresh faces get their first foray into performance, and everything in between. Open mics can be pretty rough, but we make sure ours is fun for everyone by booking the best hosts to keep energy up and the good vibes going.

How do I sign up?

Signing up is easy! In-person sign ups for our open mic start at 6:30 pm every Wednesday. Stay tuned on our Instagram to know who's hosting that night so you know who to look for when you arrive. You'll put your name down on the sign-up sheet, and the host may rearrange the order before showtime.
